Rabbi Judah Ben Samuel's Prophecy , Blood Moons, and How They Fit Into Israel's 70 yr. Generation

Below is a  chart to show the events of the generation of the Babylonian captivity, the generation of Jesus, and the generation of Israel. The chart also shows how the Blood Moons and the Rabbi Judah Samuel's prophecy fits into the seventy year generation. I have done my best to make it understandable: in the top right corner you will find a color key that may help you decipher what it says.

In the Bible there are many people and things that comes in twos and it is usually the second one that turns out to be the best (so to speak): just to name a few people: Adam and Jesus, Ismael and Issac, Esau and Jacob and then when it comes to special events we have the Passover (God saving his people) in Egypt from the judgment on the first born by the blood of the lamb replayed (so to speak) at the Passover when our Christ, the Lamb, died so his blood would cover us when judgment comes again from the Father; we will be Passed over. Then there is the day of Pentecost: fifty days after Moses brought the people out of Egypt they received the law written on stone; fifty days after Jesus was crucified the people received the law written on their hearts when the Holy Spirit entered them. I believe the Babylonian Captivity is the first generation to see the anointed (Cyrus) come to save them and that the generation of Israel will be the second generation to see the anointed (Jesus) come to save them.

In the prophecy of the Babylonian captivity given to Isaiah and Jeremiah there are many details that are similar with the generation of Christ return starting with the titles God gave Cyrus. In Isaiah 45:1 God calls Cyrus His anointed and in Isa 44:28 God refers to him as His shepherd and of course Cyrus held the title of king. All three of these titles are used when the Bible refers to Jesus. The word anointed according to “Strong’s Concordance”H4899 means Messiah and as any student of the prophecy knows Messiah is the very same title Gabriel gave to Jesus in Daniel 9:25 and 26, when he was explaining the seventy weeks. The title shepherd means teacher or ruler (H7462) a title all Christians are familiar with when it comes to the greatest teacher ever known: Jesus Christ. And of course Jesus holds the title of King and when he returns He will finally take His seat in Jerusalem where he will be King forever!!!

There is more than just titles that mirror Cyrus with our Savior there are the things they were to accomplish: Cyrus God’s anointed was to go to Babylon to destroy it and save the people out of it; these same prophecies are given concerning the return of Jesus Christ; He will save His people out of Mystery Babylon and then he will pour out his wrath on the city and all who are left.  When that is accomplished all the kingdoms of the world will belong to our Lord and his Christ and he will rule and reign for ever and ever!!! AMEN!!! Could it be the Babylonian captivity and the prophecy concerning Cyrus is a foreshadow of the last generation? Below is some verses that might help you make up your mind.

Cyrus was to be God's instrument of wrath on Babylon just as Jesus will bring forth wrath on Mystery Babylon.
Cyrus—Jer 51:45—My people, go ye out of the midst of her, and deliver ye every man his soul from the fierce anger of the LORD.

Jesus—Rev 18:4—And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

Interestingly Babylon falls twice; once in the Old Testament by Cyrus and again In the New Testament by Jesus. And both times it is mentioned that Babylon has fallen the words "is fallen" is said twice.

Cyrus—Isa 21:9—And, behold, here cometh a chariot of men, with a couple of horse men. And he answered and said, Babylon is fallen, is fallen; and all the graven images of her gods he hath broken unto the ground.
Jesus—Rev 14:8—And there followed another angel, saying Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

Cyrus was given by God all the kingdoms of the earth to rule and he would rebuild God's temple. Jesus is building the temple even today and when he comes again he will rule and reign over all the kingdoms of the earth: Hallelujah!!!
Cyrus—2 Ch 36:23—Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, all the kingdoms of the earth hath the LORD God of heaven given me; and he hath charged me to build him an house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah.
Jesus—Zec 6:12—And speak unto him, saying, thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, behold the man whose name is the BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place and he shall build the temple of the LORD.
Jesus—Rev 11:15—And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, the kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign forever and ever.

Can all this be coincidence? Could all the other things the chart shows be coincidence: nineteen years after Daniel's captivity the temple was destroyed, and the people were exile from Jerusalem and then in our generation Israel is born and nineteen years later Jerusalem becomes the possession of the Jews and they inhabit it again after approximately 2550 years (50 Jubilees) from the date of the temple being destroyed? Can it be coincidence that the feasts of tabernacles was the first feast celebrated when the Jews return to Jerusalem and that when Jesus comes we will also keep the feast of Tabernacles? Can it be coincidence that the Blood Moons and Rabbi Samuel's prophecy fit so perfectly into the seventy year generation? I know it's hard to comprehend but I couldn't have made this stuff up if I tried: What an amazing God we have!!!

Hi James in case you didn't see my first comment I wanted to say that I had to edit it: my spelling was horrible. I guess I was in a hurry lol

(Anyway) Thanks again and you are more than welcome! I was glad to do it. It did take a few minutes but it wasn't no step for a stepper. Lol

I'm going to put a paragraph or two up to explain it a little more.

It's all pretty amazing isn't it?

And may God bless you too James!!!

I'm curious why you call a total or full lunar eclipse a blood moon. Why not just call it by its proper name? Would you call a total solar eclipse some event where the "sun goes dark"? The term "blood moon" is ridiculous. Its not used in the Bible at all. When the Bible prophecies about the moon turning into blood its obviously not an eclipse as that has happened many, many times for thousands of years. Get your terms right or people that know the vocabulary will discredit you. And that would be a shame because it appears that your heart and belief system is aligned with God. You just need to be more careful with your terminology and not look like some hair brained conspiracist that will publish anything outlandish to increase traffic to their site. I don't think you mean to do this. Don't let others drag you down to their level. Jesus expects more from us.

When I look at a full lunar eclipse its not the color of blood at all. Its not read, its orange. Do you even know why its orange? Same reason our sunset is orange. The light is passing sideways through the Earth's atmosphere to get to the moon during a full lunar eclipse.

Thank you for your advice Anonymous! I hadn't even thought of it that way.

I guess I call them that because most (the ones who know about them)Christians do and when they see the words "Blood Moons" they understand what it is reference to.

God Bless!!!

Hello Anonymous,

Apologies for taking so long to get back to you.

I don't know where you got this information but it is way out there. This theory absolutely rips the Bible apart.

AD 688=Abomination of desolation in the holy place where it does not belong(Mt 24:15,Mk 13:14)

The verses you gave in the context you give them is confounded. This is a clear case of taking things way out of context to suit someone's fancy. It will be a short time, literal days (if those days were not shortened) between the abomination of desolation and the coming of Jesus to rule and reign; Jesus says that a single person and those living in the same time frame (a generation) will witness the events of the abomination of desolation and the coming of Jesus. Matthew 24:33, “So likewise ye, when YE shall SEE ALL these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.” First there is wars and rumors of wars, famines, earthquakes, and then the abomination of desolation, not the abomination of desolation thirteen hundred years before and then all the wars and such.

Mark 13:14—But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains: 13:19—For in those days shall be affliction such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be. 13:20—And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.

"AD 2023=75th year of Israel's birth, a generation is 70 plus 80 years divided by 2{Psalm 90(89):10"

By what rule do we add 70 to 80 and divide by 2? Is there anything in the Bible that says we are to do that? I can't see it in Psalm 89 or 90. If it isn't in the Bible when it comes to God's way of keeping time then it is probably not the way he keeps time? There is nothing about a 365.25 day year in the Bible.

AD 1967=Reunification of Jerusalem that shall be peopled as a city without walls {Zech 2:8(J)/4(C)

There has not been one day that the Jews have lived in Israel that they were not building on the fences and trenches around them. They have been under threat (although not like today) of annihilation since conception.

AD 688 + 1279 years = AD 1967 Arab-Israeli June Six-Day Lightning War erupted

Where does the 1279 come from?

Anonymous, I suggest you let this one go and move on to more founded beliefs. Question everything with an open mind and an open heart. Be as a child learning from his father and God will lead you in the right direction.

God Bless!!!

God did say in the Bible that He would send us signs in the sun, the moon and the stars and that the moon would turn to blood. A whole lot of events have taken place between the first two blood moons. Today I read that ISIS has declared a caliphate on the Sinai Peninsula. This is right next to Jerusalem. Just like the last two tetrads of blood moons, Israel is going to be in a war, but in the end, she will come out victorious with more land, just like before.
