Who Are The Elect In Matthew 24?

2 Timothy 4:3-5 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure affliction, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

2 Thessalonians 2:10-11 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion  that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Ephesians 5:9-10 For the Fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth; proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

Please don’t turn away from this truth!

The first thing we need to understand is that when Christ came he came for the whole of humanity and when he spoke he spoke to all Christians (followers of him). The Christians are grafted into the house of Israel by the new covenant: we are the seed of Abraham. This does not mean that Israel has been replaced it is more like his family has been made larger.

Rom. 11:1 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For also am I an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.

Hebrews 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

Hebrews 2:13 And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, behold I and the children which God hath given me.

Christians are called the children of God. When Christ came he died so that we could be joint heirs with him for eternity. It is the same as if you and your siblings were to inherit your parents assets: we as brothers and sisters to Christ along with him will inherit the kingdom of God: Our Father. You will see the promise of Christ coming and how we as the elect, the chosen, also named God’s servants will inherit with him.

Romans 8:17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

It is claimed that the word elect in all references of the Bible is talking to the Jews (Israel) except for a few times it is said that the elect is Christ, the angels, and the elect lady John writes too in 2 John 1:13 and that at no time does it refer to the Christians: that is simply not true. It is a fact that Christ is called the elect and the angels are called the elect but it is also a fact that the Christians are called the elect: even in Matthew 24. I will prove this to you but you have to be willing to receive it.

Surprisingly the word elect is only used four times in three chapters of the Old Testament. These are three chapters in Isaiah: 42, 45, and 65. I would think that it must be used a lot in connection with Israel/ the twelve tribes since most everyone is convinced that it applies to the Jews: but it isn’t. The four times the word is used is in relation to the first coming of Christ as the mediator of the new covenant. God tells us about his plans to create this new covenant and the reason for it in those three chapters of Isaiah. It is critical that we all understand this important piece of knowledge. Christ shed his blood so that the New Testament could come into effect. To cause all who are called (Jew or Gentile) to receive the promise of eternal inheritance under the new covenant. In the new covenant (Christ) there is no respect of persons: there are no difference in Jews and Gentiles.

Christ represents the new covenant that is why the second half of the Bible is called the New Testament. The old covenant was done away with: that does not mean the Old Testament books are obsolete: just the covenant.  The Jews that are called Israel didn’t do what was right according to the law of God and so there was made a new covenant. This new covenant includes both Jews and Gentiles. The majority of Jews today have not been saved by believing in Christ and still don’t believe he was who he said he was: they are waiting on his second coming as if it is his first. Please feel free to check out my claims.

Jeremiah 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:

Hebrews 8:8 For finding fault with them, he saith, behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:

Hebrews 8:7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.

Hebrews 8:6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.

Obama Communist? That's What Joel Gilbert Tells WND?

Written by Gail Green
9-22-12

WND web site reporter Senior staff reporter Jerome R. Corsi wrote an interesting article today about a man named Joel Gilbert who asked the question: How is it possible Barak Obama had time to teach little Barry to love jazz? In the interview with WND Mr. Gilbert told the reporter “Obama’s official life story claims he was with Barack Obama, the Kenyan, only one time, in the early 1970’s, and then briefly, for a week or ten days,” Mr. Gilbert told WND, “There was a man who raised Obama who was a jazz aficionado, his name was Frank Marshall Davis” “It appears the Obama campaign is finally admitting I’m right, that Frank Marshall Davis, the Communist Party USA propagandist and Marxist, was his real father. So there you have I, Obama is a red diaper baby.”

Mr. Gilbert with the help of his associates made a video documentary expressing his findings collected over a two year period of research. Mr. Gilbert portrays quit a contrary view to what Obama did in his book “Dreams From my father.” The author’s main objective in making this documentary “Dreams from My Real Father” is to reveal the real crux of Obama’s childhood learning. You can watch below or use it as a link to visit Mr. Gilbert’s You Tube channel where you can find more information about his understanding of this side of Obama. Visit WND and find out why Mr. Corsi brings it up now in his article "More Confusion AboutObama's Real Father (Who is the dad who taught him to 'love jazz'?."

Hobby Lobby Owner David Green is Taken Our Goverment to Court

Column: Christian companies can't bow to sinful mandate
By David Green

When my family and I started our company 40 years ago, we were working out of a garage on a $600 bank loan, assembling miniature picture frames. Our first retail store wasn't much bigger than most people's living rooms, but we had faith that we would succeed if we lived and worked according to God's word. From there, Hobby Lobby has become one of the nation's largest arts and crafts retailers, with more than 500 locations in 41 states. Our children grew up into fine business leaders, and today we run Hobby Lobby together, as a family.
We're Christians, and we run our business on Christian principles. I've always said that the first two goals of our business are (1) to run our business in harmony with God's laws, and (2) to focus on people more than money. And that's what we've tried to do. We close early so our employees can see their families at night. We keep our stores closed on Sundays, one of the week's biggest shopping days, so that our workers and their families can enjoy a day of rest. We believe that it is by God's grace that Hobby Lobby has endured, and he has blessed us and our employees. We've not only added jobs in a weak economy, we've raised wages for the past four years in a row. Our full-time employees start at 80% above minimum wage.
But now, our government threatens to change all of that. A new government healthcare mandate says that our family business must provide what I believe are abortion-causing drugs as part of our health insurance. Being Christians, we don't pay for drugs that might cause abortions. Which means that we don't cover emergency contraception, the morning-after pill or the week-after pill. We believe doing so might end a life after the moment of conception, something that is contrary to our most important beliefs. It goes against the Biblical principles on which we have run this company since day one. If we refuse to comply, we could face $1.3 million per day in government fines.
Our government threatens to fine job creators in a bad economy. Our government threatens to fine a company that's raised wages four years running. Our government threatens to fine a family for running its business according to its beliefs. It's not right.
I know people will say we ought to follow the rules; that it's the same for everybody. But that's not true. The government has exempted thousands of companies from this mandate, for reasons of convenience or cost. But it won't exempt them for reasons of religious belief. So, Hobby Lobby — and my family — are forced to make a choice. With great reluctance, we filed a lawsuit today, represented by the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty, asking a federal court to stop this mandate before it hurts our business. We don't like to go running into court, but we no longer have a choice. We believe people are more important than the bottom line and that honoring God is more important than turning a profit.
My family has lived the American dream. We want to continue growing our company and providing great jobs for thousands of employees, but the government is going to make that much more difficult. The government is forcing us to choose between following our faith and following the law. I say that's a choice no American — and no American business — should have to make.
David Green is the CEO and founder of Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc.

Mom and Pop Bakery says 'no' to Biden

Read the following, then watch the video.

Subject: Mom and Pop Bakery says 'no' to Biden - look what happened!

Good news!

When the Secret Service walked into a small bakery in Radford, Virginia to ask the owner, Chris McMurray, if he would like a chance at priceless publicity by letting his tiny store, "Crumb and Get It", be used as a photo op for Vice President Biden, heaven knows, Chris needed all the help he could get. He and his wife had just started the small bakery only three months ago and were struggling desperately to make a go of it with a workload that often required the wife to work 24 hours straight. To the agents' astonishment, however, Chris respectfully but firmly said no. As a devout Christian (who ends each sale with "God bless"), his religious beliefs were at odds with a President whose flatly refused to step foot inside a church (save for photo ops and funerals) since gaining the Oval Office, has just endorsed gay marriage and won't celebrate Christmas but will celebrate Ramadan, etc. Chris was also at odds with that same President for telling small business owners throughout America - "you didn't build that". As Chris explained, he and his wife did build their store and thus weren't willing to let it be used for the Obama administration's political purposes.

Result? Though the female anchor of the local news channel freaked out on the air by wondering aloud if Chris didn't realize what trouble he might cause for himself by snubbing the Vice President, the reality had been the total opposite. Chris has been swamped with business. As he told the reporter days later in amazement, the phone has been ringing nonstop with orders from all over the country for Chris and his wife to deliver cookies and cupcakes to homeless shelters, churches and nonprofit groups, etc. And get this, the first orders came from the very Secret Service agents who'd requested the store for the Biden photo op. Not only were the agents not shocked by Chris' refusal, they were so delighted that they ordered cookies and cupcakes for themselves on the spot.

But Obama didn't say that the small business man didn't build their business on their own!

Is There Really a Seventieth Week of Daniel?

Jeremiah 34:14—At the end of seven years let ye go every man his brother an Hebrew, which hath been sold unto thee; and when he hath served thee six years, thou shalt let him go free.

Believe it or not this verse is a major key to understanding the prophecy of Daniel’s seventy weeks. This verse tells us that when God says seven years he means that in six years all work is to be done and the slave is freed to return home to his family for the seventh year. The seventh year to God is the same as the seventh day; it is to be kept holy. God used this Modus operandi when he gave Jeremiah the length of time for the Babylonian captivity. The exile was to last for seventy years but ended after sixty nine years were counted and the seventieth year was kept holy. I believe God does this same thing in the prophecy of the seventy weeks of Daniel. This theory makes much more sense than the way Sir Robert Anderson ascertained the prophecy of Daniel’s seventy weeks.

Daniel 9:24—Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and  prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

Dan 9:25—Know therefore and understand, [that] from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince [shall be] seven weeks (7), and threescore and two (62) weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

Sir Robert Anderson counts the seven weeks before the sixty two weeks and leaves the last verse to explain the seventieth week. I have heard Bible teachers say “no one knows why the seven weeks were separated from the sixty two weeks.” It seems this would throw up a red flag in the understanding of the seventy weeks and make people ask questions but it hasn’t. No one questions men of scholar and that is one reason why there are so many heresies in our world today. Let’s go against the average man and ask a couple of questions. Why would Gabriel mention the seven weeks and then neglect to count or explain them? Why would he say “after sixty two weeks” and then jump to the seventieth week, ignoring the seven weeks?

The answers to those questions are that Gabriel didn’t neglect to count or explain the seven weeks to Daniel. Both  the seven weeks and the sixty two weeks are explained and counted: the Messiah is cut off after sixty two weeks and the covenant is confirmed at the beginning of the last seven weeks totaling sixty nine weeks (69 yrs). In the theory I am presenting the seventy weeks is a generation of seventy years and would fit perfectly in the chronology of Matthew 1:17.  The seventy weeks are lined up with what took place in the time of the Babylonian captivity: a judgment that was to last seventy years but ended after sixty nine years and the seventieth year (the tenth Sabbath since judgment began) was a time of joy and worship.

In Mr. Anderson’s theory the seven weeks are ignored and the seventieth week is explained instead. His speculation purposes that there are four hundred ninety years of which four hundred and eighty three of those years happened two thousand years ago and we are just waiting on the last seven years to pop up at any minute. In no way does his assertion coincide with the generation Jesus spoke of in Matthew twenty four and by no means would it fit into the chronology of Matthew 1:17. In my opinion it is a no brainer which theory makes better sense but of course it is up to you as to rather you believe it or not..

Jack Van Impe: "Who are the “elect” of Matthew 24:22?"

Jack Van Impe News letter July 23, 2012: Received July 29, 2012

Who are the “elect” of Matthew 24:22?

“Posttribulationists (those who believe the Church of Jesus Christ will endure the terrible period of the Tribulation) like to use this verse-“Except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened” (Matthew 24:22)-saying this passage proves the Church will remain on earth because we are the “elect.” Nothing could be further from the truth. Many do not realize that God has two elect groups on earth. There is the Church (see Ephesisans 1:4, 1 Peter 1:2), but that is not the group referred to in Matthew 24:22. How do I know this? Isaiah 42:1 speaks of the Jews as God’s elect. (Jack Van Impe).”

It floors me how someone can claim fifty years or more of Bible study, memorize all the verses and yet don’t know their Bible. It’s either that or a blatant attempt to deceive you. Unfortunately in our “Post Modern” world this type of behavior is prevalent. In the paragraph above Mr. Impe unequivocally states that Isaiah 42:1 speaks of the Jews as God’s elect. I am sorry Jack that could not be any further from the truth. In the next paragraph of his news letter Mr. Van Impe states: “It’s important at all times to keep the biblical text in context.” I agree Mr. Impe and it would be nice if you would follow your own advice. Isaiah 42:1 is not referring to the Jews as the elect but of Jesus (as the elect) and the inclusion of the Gentiles under Him (the new covenant). The verse says that God is delighted with his elect (Jesus) and that He shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles. Matthew 12:17-21 quotes Isaiah almost word for word and there is no way that it can be mistaken or taken out of context. It is certain from Matthew 12 that Jesus is the elect spoken of not the Jews.

Isa 42:1-4—Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, [in whom] my soul delights; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles. He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street. A bruise reed shall he not break and the smoking flax shall he not quench: He shall bring forth judgment unto truth. He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till He have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law.

Matthew 12:15-21—But when Jesus knew [it], He withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all; and charged them that they should not make him known: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias (Isaiah) the prophet, saying, Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and He shall show judgment to the Gentiles. He shall not strive, or cry; neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets. A bruised reed shall He not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till He send forth judgment unto victory. And in his name shall the Gentiles trust.

I hope that you the reader can see that Mr. Van Impe was wrong in this case. I had a friend say to me “well, maybe he made a mistake.” I can’t agree that he did or even entertain the idea. When a writer creates a written work that person reads and edits it before giving it to the world. If Mr. Van Impe did make a mistake then why didn’t he catch it before sending it out? No, there was no mistake made, the pretribulationist have to promote a division of God’s elect (Jews and Christians) for their theory to hold up. There is no division and God has not done away with his promise to the Jew’s He just renewed the contract to include the Gentile nations which in turn makes all believers Jew or Gentile part of the whole house of Israel i.e. the seed of Abraham.

The reason I am pointing this out is because I want you to see how easy it is for someone to slip in a verse or two and tell you it means something totally different than it does. This is how we come to be deceived. As a Christian it is our duty to study the word for ourselves. If I didn’t study scripture I probably would have taken Mr. Impe at his word and I would have been deceived into believing the word elect means the Jews in Isa 42:1 a verse chosen by Mr. Impe to enforce the pretribulation rapture theory by dividing the Jews from the Christians.

God does not have two elect groups on earth He has only one: those who follow him. Christ came to this earth to be a sacrificial Lamb for the whole world: Rom 2:10—But glory, honor, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:, there are no divisions under the New Covenant (Jesus); “there is no respect of persons with God (Rom 2:11).

When one observes President Obama’s unwillingness to accommodate America’s four-century long religious conscience protection through his attempts to require Catholics to go against their own doctrines and beliefs, one is tempted to say that he is anti-Catholic. But that characterization would not be correct. Although he has recently singled out Catholics, he has equally targeted traditional Protestant beliefs over the past four years. So since he has attacked Catholics and Protestants, one is tempted to say that he is anti-Christian. But that, too, would be inaccurate. He has been equally disrespectful in his appalling treatment of religious Jews in general and Israel in particular.

So perhaps the most accurate description of his antipathy toward Catholics, Protestants, religious Jews, and the Jewish nation would be to characterize him as anti-Biblical. And then when his hostility toward Biblical people of faith is contrasted with his preferential treatment of Muslims and Muslim nations, it further strengthens the accuracy of the anti-Biblical Descriptor. In fact, there have been numerous clearly documented times when his pro-Islam positions have been the cause of his anti-Biblical actions.

Follow the link below. In chronological order are (1) numerous records of his attacks on Biblical persons or organization;(2) examples of the hostility toward Biblical faith that have become evident in the past three years in the Obama-led military; (3) a listing of his open attacks on Biblical values; and finally (4) a listing of numerous incidents of his preferential deference for Islam’s activities and positions, including letting his Islamic advisors guide and influence his hostility toward people of Biblical faith.

While reading about the Wall Builders I found this paragraph that Encourages Christians. Please read it and visit their web site.

Encouraging Christians

Thirdly, we encourage people of faith to become involved in the civic arena, whether through prayer or direct involvement. As President and gospel minister James A. Garfield stated, "Now, more than ever, the people are responsible for the character of their Congress. If that body be ignorant, reckless and corrupt, it is because the people tolerate ignorance, recklessness. and corruption. If it be intelligent, brave, and pure, it is because the people demand these high qualities to represent them in the national legislature....[I]f the next centennial does not find us a great nation... it will be because those who represent the enterprise, the culture, and the morality of the nation do not aid in controlling the political forces."

America’s Most Biblically-Hostile U. S. President

America’s Most Biblically-Hostile U. S. President
David Barton - 02/29/2012

Listed below in chronological order are (1) numerous records of his attacks on Biblical persons or organizations; (2) examples of the hostility toward Biblical faith that have become evident in the past three years in the Obama-led military; (3) a listing of his open attacks on Biblical values; and finally (4) a listing of numerous incidents of his preferential deference for Islam’s activities and positions, including letting his Islamic advisors guide and influence his hostility toward people of Biblical faith.
1. Acts of hostility toward people of Biblical faith:
  • April 2008 – Obama speaks disrespectfully of Christians, saying they “cling to guns or religion” and have an “antipathy to people who aren't like them.” 1

  • February 2009 – Obama announces plans to revoke conscience protection for health workers who refuse to participate in medical activities that go against their beliefs, and fully implements the plan in February 2011. 2

  • April 2009 – When speaking at Georgetown University, Obama orders that a monogram symbolizing Jesus' name be covered when he is making his speech. 3

  • May 2009 – Obama declines to host services for the National Prayer Day (a day established by federal law) at the White House. 4

  • April 2009 – In a deliberate act of disrespect, Obama nominated three pro-abortion ambassadors to the Vatican; of course, the pro-life Vatican rejected all three. 5

  • October 19, 2010 – Obama begins deliberately omitting the phrase about “the Creator” when quoting the Declaration of Independence – an omission he has made on no less than seven occasions. 6

  • November 2010 – Obama misquotes the National Motto, saying it is “E pluribus unum” rather than “In God We Trust” as established by federal law. 7

  • January 2011 – After a federal law was passed to transfer a WWI Memorial in the Mojave Desert to private ownership, the U. S. Supreme Court ruled that the cross in the memorial could continue to stand, but the Obama administration refused to allow the land to be transferred as required by law, and refused to allow the cross to be re-erected as ordered by the Court. 8

  • February 2011 – Although he filled posts in the State Department, for more than two years Obama did not fill the post of religious freedom ambassador, an official that works against religious persecution across the world; he filled it only after heavy pressure from the public and from Congress. 9

  • April 2011 – For the first time in American history, Obama urges passage of a non-discrimination law that does not contain hiring protections for religious groups, forcing religious organizations to hire according to federal mandates without regard to the dictates of their own faith, thus eliminating conscience protection in hiring. 10

  • August 2011 – The Obama administration releases its new health care rules that override religious conscience protections for medical workers in the areas of abortion and contraception. 11

  • November 2011 – Obama opposes inclusion of President Franklin Roosevelt’s famous D-Day Prayer in the WWII Memorial. 12

  • November 2011 – Unlike previous presidents, Obama studiously avoids any religious references in his Thanksgiving speech. 13

  • December 2011 – The Obama administration denigrates other countries' religious beliefs as an obstacle to radical homosexual rights. 14

  • January 2012 – The Obama administration argues that the First Amendment provides no protection for churches and synagogues in hiring their pastors and rabbis. 15

  • February 2012 – The Obama administration forgives student loans in exchange for public service, but announces it will no longer forgive student loans if the public service is related to religion. 16
2. Acts of hostility from the Obama-led military toward people of Biblical faith:
  • June 2011 – The Department of Veterans Affairs forbids references to God and Jesus during burial ceremonies at Houston National Cemetery. 17

  • August 2011 – The Air Force stops teaching the Just War theory to officers in California because the course is taught by chaplains and is based on a philosophy introduced by St. Augustine in the third century AD – a theory long taught by civilized nations across the world (except America). 18

  • September 2011 – Air Force Chief of Staff prohibits commanders from notifying airmen of programs and services available to them from chaplains. 19

  • September 2011 – The Army issues guidelines for Walter Reed Medical Center stipulating that “No religious items (i.e. Bibles, reading materials and/or facts) are allowed to be given away or used during a visit.” 20

  • November 2011 – The Air Force Academy rescinds support for Operation Christmas Child, a program to send holiday gifts to impoverished children across the world, because the program is run by a Christian charity. 21

  • November 2011 – The Air Force Academy pays $80,000 to add a Stonehenge-like worship center for pagans, druids, witches and Wiccans. 22

  • February 2012 – The U. S. Military Academy at West Point disinvites three star Army general and decorated war hero Lieutenant General William G. (“Jerry”) Boykin (retired) from speaking at an event because he is an outspoken Christian. 23

  • February 2012 – The Air Force removes “God” from the patch of Rapid Capabilities Office (the word on the patch was in Latin: Dei). 24

  • February 2012 – The Army orders Catholic chaplains not to read a letter to parishioners that their archbishop asked them to read. 25
3. Acts of hostility toward Biblical values:
  • January 2009 – Obama lifts restrictions on U.S. government funding for groups that provide abortion services or counseling abroad, forcing taxpayers to fund pro-abortion groups that either promote or perform abortions in other nations. 26

  • January 2009 – President Obama’s nominee for deputy secretary of state asserts that American taxpayers are required to pay for abortions and that limits on abortion funding are unconstitutional. 27

  • March 2009 – The Obama administration shut out pro-life groups from attending a White House-sponsored health care summit. 28

  • March 2009 – Obama orders taxpayer funding of embryonic stem cell research. 29

  • March 2009 – Obama gave $50 million for the UNFPA, the UN population agency that promotes abortion and works closely with Chinese population control officials who use forced abortions and involuntary sterilizations. 30

  • May 2009 – The White House budget eliminates all funding for abstinence-only education and replaces it with “comprehensive” sexual education, repeatedly proven to increase teen pregnancies and abortions. 31 He continues the deletion in subsequent budgets. 32

  • May 2009 – Obama officials assemble a terrorism dictionary calling pro-life advocates violent and charging that they use racism in their “criminal” activities. 33

  • July 2009 – The Obama administration illegally extends federal benefits to same-sex partners of Foreign Service and Executive Branch employees, in direction violation of the federal Defense of Marriage Act. 34

  • September 16, 2009 – The Obama administration appoints as EEOC Commissioner Chai Feldblum, who asserts that society should “not tolerate” any “private beliefs,” including religious beliefs, if they may negatively affect homosexual “equality.” 35

  • July 2010 – The Obama administration uses federal funds in violation of federal law to get Kenya to change its constitution to include abortion. 36

  • August 2010 – The Obama administration Cuts funding for 176 abstinence education programs. 37

  • September 2010 – The Obama administration tells researchers to ignore a judge’s decision striking down federal funding for embryonic stem cell research. 38

  • February 2011 – Obama directs the Justice Department to stop defending the federal Defense of Marriage Act. 39

  • March 2011 – The Obama administration refuses to investigate videos showing Planned Parenthood helping alleged sex traffickers get abortions for victimized underage girls. 40

  • July 2011 – Obama allows homosexuals to serve openly in the military, reversing a policy originally instituted by George Washington in March 1778. 41

  • September 2011 – The Pentagon directs that military chaplains may perform same-sex marriages at military facilities in violation of the federal Defense of Marriage Act. 42

  • October 2011 – The Obama administration eliminates federal grants to the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops for their extensive programs that aid victims of human trafficking because the Catholic Church is anti-abortion. 43
4. Acts of preferentialism for Islam:
  • May 2009 – While Obama does not host any National Day of Prayer event at the White House, he does host White House Iftar dinners in honor of Ramadan. 44

  • April 2010 – Christian leader Franklin Graham is disinvited from the Pentagon’s National Day of Prayer Event because of complaints from the Muslim community. 45

  • April 2010 – The Obama administration requires rewriting of government documents and a change in administration vocabulary to remove terms that are deemed offensive to Muslims, including jihad, jihadists, terrorists, radical Islamic, etc. 46

  • August 2010 – Obama speaks with great praise of Islam and condescendingly of Christianity. 47

  • August 2010 – Obama went to great lengths to speak out on multiple occasions on behalf of building an Islamic mosque at Ground Zero, while at the same time he was silent about a Christian church being denied permission to rebuild at that location. 48

  • 2010 – While every White House traditionally issues hundreds of official proclamations and statements on numerous occasions, this White House avoids traditional Biblical holidays and events but regularly recognizes major Muslim holidays, as evidenced by its 2010 statements on Ramadan, Eid-ul-Fitr, Hajj, and Eid-ul-Adha. 49

  • October 2011 – Obama’s Muslim advisers block Middle Eastern Christians’ access to the White House. 50

  • February 2012 – The Obama administration makes effulgent apologies for Korans being burned by the U. S. military, 51 but when Bibles were burned by the military, numerous reasons were offered why it was the right thing to do. 52
Many of these actions are literally unprecedented – this is the first time they have happened in four centuries of American history. The hostility of President Obama toward Biblical faith and values is without equal from any previous American president.
